And now I'm using a wireless networking point-to-point connection to a laptop on the other bed in the hotel which is connected to earthlink. So, we have a local network setup in our hotel room sharing the 28k modem connection. Damn its slow. But kinda cool nonetheless.

Yup, on my way out for that competition NOW. Literally leaving for the airport in 20 mins. Also, I got news on grad school this morning - great news: I'm in, and I have a teaching assistantship. Yay for me.

I will be at the ACM International Collegiate Programming Competition for a week starting next wednesday. It should be a blast. If I can pick up a wireless signal somewhere in LA, I will blog from there. Not sure how successful that will be, but one can hope.

When I find some free time, I am definitely creating the microwave computer. I've gutted the microwave, found a motherboard and PS that will fit. Everything else is just elbow grease. It'll be pretty sweet when im done. I'll post pictures.
